Original abstract
The paper deals with asymptotic properties of the difference equation obtained by means of the discretization of the delay differential equation with an unbounded delay via modified Euler method. The linear interpolation is utilized for approximation of delayed argument. The derived asymptotic estimate for the discrete case is compared with the known asymptotic behaviour of solutions in the continuous case.

Článek se zabývá asymptotickými vlastnostmi diferenční rovnice, kterou získáme diskretizací diferenciální rovnice s neohraničeným zpožděním Eulerovou metodou. Zpožděný argument je aproximován lineární interpolací. Odvozený asymptotický odhad řešení diskrétní úlohy je porovnán se známými výsledky kvalitativní analýzy spojitého diferenciálního případu.
