About Us

The Energy Institute, through its individual departments, teaches students in three-year bachelor's programmes and two-year master's programmes with the possibility of subsequent doctoral studies. Courses in thermomechanics and hydromechanics are compulsory for all students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Teachers of the Energy Institute then provide extended instruction in thermomechanics and hydrodynamics for students in the Master's programme, focusing on the practical application of these disciplines, i.e. thermal and nuclear machinery and equipment, water machinery and heating and air conditioning. After completing all the sub-examinations, students of the Master's programme take the state examination and defend their theses. The best of them are offered the opportunity to continue their studies at the faculty as part of the doctoral programme.
