Original abstract

This paper describes a method for separation of the acceleration due to gravity from the motion acceleration obtained with the use of the inertial sensors. The proposed method based on the fusion of gyroscope and accelerometer measurements uses Unscented Kalman filter on the quaternion space for the estimation of orientation.
