The course familiarises students with advanced principles of quality management and quality assurance in a company.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The course Quality Management II enables students to gain knowledge about improving the quality management system in the company. Students will know how to use advanced methods for this purpose.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Examination:
Test consisting of 15 questions (max. 15 points).
Successfully defended semester work (max. 3 points).
Rating: 15-14 points A; 13 points B; 12 points C; 11 points D; 10 points E

The aim of the course Quality Management II is to introduce advanced management methods and evaluation of quality management throughout the life cycle of a product or service.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Controlled participation in lessons: Presentation and defense of the semester work is optional.
