Original abstract

This paper deals with corrosion properties of extruded AZ61 magnesium alloy. The phosphate-permanganate conversion coating was prepared on the surface of experimental alloy. This conversion coating was prepared like alternative to the chromating process. The corrosion resistance of extruded AZ61 magnesium alloy with and without conversion coating was tested by immersion test. The samples were immersed in sodium chloride solution (3.5 %).

Czech abstract

Studie je zaměřena na zkoumaní korozních vlastností hořčíkové slitiny AZ61. Povlak manganatého fosfátu byl připraven na povrchu experimentální slitiny jako alternativa chromátovacího procesu.Korozní odolnost extrudované hořčíkové slitiny AZ61 s konverzním povlakem i bez konverzního povlaku byla testována pomocí ponorové zkoušky v roztoku 3,5% NaCl.
