Tato rešerše se věnuje současnému stavu poznání v oblasti experimentálních zařízení pro studium tribologických aspektů, především adhezních podmínek, kontaktu kola a kolejnice. Popisuje princip činnosti a konstrukci používaných zařízení, nejčastěji ve formě dvoudiskových strojů. Stručně jsou shrnuty výsledky studií prováděných na těchto strojích.

English abstract
This review focuses on the current state of knowledge in the field of experimental test rigs for the study of tribological aspects, especially adhesion conditions, in wheel and rail contact. It describes the principles of operation and construction of equipment used, usually in the form of a twin-disc machines. Briefly summarizes the results of studies conducted on these machines.
