Original abstract

The contribution deals with finite element analysis of stress state in sub-sized pre-cracked three-point bend specimen (KLST). A studied material was Eurofer97 steel. The true stress-true strain curve was obtained from tensile test. The three-point-bend tests were carried out on pre-cracked plain and side-grooved specimens at ambient temperature. Performed tests were simulated using FEA software ABAQUS 6.10. The stress state in KLST specimen was compared with the stress state of pre-cracked Charpy and 1T SENB. The analysis confirmed the stress state in KLST specimens at the crack-tip does not correspond to the stress state of standard fracture toughness determination because of loss of crack-tip and out-of-plane constraint.

Czech abstract

Příspěvek se zbývá konečnoprvkovou analýzou stavu napjatosti v podrozměrném tělese s trhlinou pro tříbodový ohyb (KLST). Zkoumaným materiálem byla ocel Eurofer97. Křivka oceli skutečné napětí-skutečná deformace byla získána z tahové zkoušky. Ohybové zkoušky byly provedeny na hladkém a bočně vrubovaném tělese při pokojové teplotě. Provedené zkoušky byly simulovány v konečnoprvkovém softwaru ABAQUS 6.10. Stav napjatosti na čele trhliny v KLST tělese byl srovnán se stavem napjatosti v Charpy tělese s trhlinou a standardním ohybovém tělese tloušťky 1T. Analýzy potvrdily, že napěťový stav na čele trhliny v KLST tělesa neodpovídá stavu napjatosti pro standardní podmínky určení houževnatosti kvůli ztrátě constraintu na čele trhliny a ztrátě out-of-plane constraintu.
