Original abstract
The paper describes the application of the wavelet transform to edge detection in images. The principles and algorithms given above have been used in an application that was developed at Brno University of Technology. The application has been programmed in the Microsoft Visual C++ environment. In the development, the Win32 API and MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class ) libraries were made use of. In the application, any of the seven implemented wavelet types can be used for edge detection.
