Original abstract

The eigenvalue problem is solved on the finite element model of the external outer ear canal (EAC). The absorption of the canal walls and the interaction between external ear cavity subsystem and the elastic tympanic membrane (TM) is considered. The results of the mathematical modeling are compared with experimental measurements on human dissections
