Original abstract

The eigenvalue problem and harmonic analysis is solved on the finite element model of the external outer ear canal. The absorption of the canal walls, the external and middle ear cavity subsystems, the elastic tympanic membrane and middle ear ossicle chain is considered. The results of the mathematical modelling are compared with experimental measurements on physical models.
