Original abstract

In the paper the drill-hole method for establishing residual stress in Al-castings is discussed. Using the FEM the calibration coefficients are established for the application of the integral method of determining residual stress. Residual stress at critical points of the casting across the wall thickness is analysed with the aid of an MTS 3000 device.

Stanovení zbytkových pnutí odvrtávací metodou u Al-slitin. Možnosti stanovení kalibračních koeficientů a použití integrální metody. Stanovení zbytkových pnutí pomocí přístroje MTS 3000.

English abstract

In the paper the drill-hole method for establishing residual stress in Al-castings is discussed.
