Original abstract

Bayesian networks (also called Bayes nets, causal probabilistic networks, Bayesian belief networks or simply belief networks) are the latest achievements for dealing with the problems of the expert systems. The Bayesian networks (BNs), its creation and usage will be shortly described in this article. An comparison with some well known rule based expert systems and neural networks will be done, Whole process of creating and using BN will be presented on a simple example.
