Original abstract

V aplikacích matematiky v praxi se velmi často setkáváme s potřebou aproximace funkcí z naměřených hodnot, resp. s úlohou výpočtu statistických charakteristik polohy pozorovaných dat. Pro řešení těchto úloh se nejčastěji používá metoda nejmenších čtverců, resp. statistiky typu průměr či medián. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je ukázat některé nestandardní metriky využitelné pro tyto úlohy. Tyto metriky mohou být vytvořeny pomocí tzv. generující funkce a mohou při tvorbě modelu ovlivnit jeho robustnost vzhledem k extrémně odchýleným hodnotám.

V aplikacích matematiky v praxi se velmi často setkáváme s potřebou aproximace funkcí z naměřených hodnot, resp. s úlohou výpočtu statistických charakteristik polohy pozorovaných dat. Pro řešení těchto úloh se nejčastěji používá metoda nejmenších čtverců, resp. statistiky typu průměr či medián. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je ukázat některé nestandardní metriky využitelné pro tyto úlohy. Tyto metriky mohou být vytvořeny pomocí tzv. generující funkce a mohou při tvorbě modelu ovlivnit jeho robustnost vzhledem k extrémně odchýleným hodnotám.

English abstract

In applications of mathematics in practice we are very often encounter with requirement of the function approximation from measured values, eventually with problem of the statistical characteristics calculation of the measures of central tendency. For solution these problems we employs most frequently the method of least squares, eventually statistics average or median type. Objective hereof contribution is shown some nonstandard metrics available for these problems. These metrics can be created by means of so – called generating function, and they may at creation of the model suggest his robustness appearance toward outliers.
