Original abstract

The main objective of this contribution is the numerical investigation of the properties in polymeric particulate composite. The composite was modeled as a two-phase continuum (using representative volume element) and numerically simulated on a microscopic scale using finite elements method (ANSYS). For calculations of the composite Young modulus finite element model with respect the elastic-plastic model of polymer matrix (polypropylene) was used. The numerical results with experimental data were confronted as well as the data for modeling of primary matrix was determinate from experiment.

Hlavním cílem tohoto článku je studium vlastností částicových kompozitů pomocí numerických metod. Kompozit byl modelován jako dvoufázové kontinuum za použití reprezentativního objemu. Pro popis matrice byly v tomto příspěvku použity hodnoty získané z experimentu na Ústavu materiálového inženýrství. Získané hodnoty modulu pružnusti byly porovnány s experimentem.
