Na základě analýzy provozních dat kotle byly stanoveny empirické vztahy účinnosti kotle v závislosti na množství vyráběné páry a teplotě spalin na výstupu z kotle. Tato metodika je součástí matematického modelu, který je testován nositelem úkolu v elektrárně Opatovice.
