Original abstract

For determining the temperature and its radial distribution in the plasma one on the following three methods can be used. Either a method based on the measurement of the absolute radiation intensity of one wavelength, on a method based on the measurement of the relative radiation intensity of a selected spectral line, or a method based on the measurement of the intensity of monochromatic radiation of a spectral line which exhibits a pronounced self-reversal. For the determination of the radial temperature distribution the authors have selected the third method.
