Original abstract

The experimental study of cooling of working rolls was done in 2004. The results are presented in the report: Experimental Study of Cooling of Cylindrical Rolls. This report provides boundary conditions (heat transfer coefficient distribution) for eleven spray configurations. Three of these cooling configurations were selected for modelling of the evolution of temperature fields in roll during hot rolling.

Experimentální studie hclazení válců byla provedena v roce 2004, výsledky prezentovány ve zprávě: Experimental Study of Cooling of Cylindrical Rolls. Tato zpráva poskytuje informaci o okrajových podmínkách (distribuce HTC) pro 11 konfigurací ostřiku. 3 z těchto jedenácti konfigurací byly vybrány pro modelování vývoje teplotních polí na válci během válcování za tepla.
