Original abstract
To introduce the problems of high strain rate processes into the new course of curriculum of mechanical engineering students. The course comprises lectures dealing with measurement of dynamical mechanical properties, structure dara and specific characteristics of various processes such as high speed forming, explosive forming etc. Laboratories contain the measurement of dynamic yield stress using Taylor Anvil Test and analysis of experimental results and structure studies.
