Original abstract
High temperature measured by thermocouples in plasma jet may differ from the real gas temperature because thermocouple is cooled by its own radiation and by heat conduction through its leads. The paper describes the method of correcting these differences using energy balance equations for thermocouple tip and the leads. Velocity field can be calculated from measured and corrected temperature distribution within the jet.

Při měření vysokých teplot pracovního média generátoru plazmatu termočlánkem je naměřený údaj zkreslen vlivem ztrát radiací a vedením prostřednictvím přívodů termočlánku. Článek popisuje, jak eliminovat druhý z těchto vlivů na základě měření pomocným termočlánkem a energetické bilance termočlánku a jeho přívodů. Z naměřených a korigovaných profilů teplot lze stanovit rychlostní profily.
