Original abstract
The paper contains a new knowledge at the branch of machining of advanced ceramics, which has been obtained from conventional pendulum grinding tests of these structural materials. The ceramics at the base of Al2O3 and SiMgO3 had been ground by the help of diamond wheels with bronze and resin bonding. The components of cutting force were measured and evaluated in connection with machined material, nature of chip forming, quality of machined surface and cutting conditions.

Článek přináší nové poznatky v oblasti obrábění progresivních keramik, které byly získány při zkouškách konvenčního kyvadlového broušení těchto konstrukčních materiálů. Keramiky na bázi Al2O3a SiMgO3 byly broušeny diamantovými kotouči s bronzovým a pryžovým pojivem. Byly měřeny a vyhodnocovány složky řezné síly, v souvislosti s obráběným materiálem, principem tvoření třísky, kvalitou povrchu obrobené plochy a řeznými podmínkami.
