Original abstract

This section deals with a summary of a design, results and simulating modelling of the vibration microgenerator and a verification of the vibration microgenerator prototype. The vibration microgenerator converts mechanical energy of an ambient vibration to electrical energy. The vibration microgenerator is a mechatronic system and it consists of a mechanical resonant mechanism, an energy transducer and a control system that provides required harvested electrical power. This mechatronic system is suitable as independent power supply for feeding wireless sensors. The vibration generator is one mechatronic module of an intelligent sensor system. Generated output power is around 1 mW.
