Thin film colorimetric interferometry was used to observe the behavior of W/O emulsions under very thin film lubrication conditions. Central film thickness values were evaluated from chromatic interferograms obtained under pure rolling conditions for both pure oils and W/O emulsions.

Pro pozorování chování V/O emulzí za podmínek mazání velmi tenkými mazacími filmy byla použita kolorimetrická interferometrie. Centrální tloušťka mazacího filmu byla stanovena z chromatických interferogramů získaných za podmínek čistého valení jak pro čistý olej tak pro V/O emulzi.
