Methods QFD, FTA and FMEA are nowadays being successfully applied in order to increase and assure quality during the design of new products; however, their application in the field of development and design of machining centres is not known so far. This contribution presents the result of a PhD thesis dealing with the application of these modern methods of preventive quality as-surance in the design of machining centres. Apart from the requirements of ISO 9000:2000 series, also other aspects influencing the process of design have been considered, which has lead to the development of a new method of preventive quality assurance – Quality, Safety and Organisational Function Deployment. The method is characterized by strict orientation towards the requirements of customers, laws and the organization itself, as well as by application of process and system approach to all activities during development and design. The pre-sented QSOFD method enables easier detection of the unspoken requirements of customers and supported proposals of preventive and corrective measures.

Pro zvyšování a zabezpečování jakosti během vývoje nových produktů se již s úspěchem používají metody QFD, FTA a FMEA, u nichž však není doposud známá žádná aplikace v oblasti vývoje a konstrukce OC. V tomto příspěvku je prezentován výsledek disertační práce zabývající se využitím těchto moderních metod preventivního zabezpečování jakosti při konstrukci obráběcích center. Kromě požadavků norem ISO řady 9000:2000 zde byly zohledněny i další aspekty působící na konstrukční proces, což vedlo k vyvinutí nové metody preventivního zabezpečování jakosti – Quality, Safety and Organisational Function Deployment (QSOFD), která se vyznačuje kromě orientace na požadavky zákazníků i orientací na další zákonné požadavky a požadavky vlastní organizace a dále procesním a systémovým přístupem při všech vývojových a konstrukčních činnostech. Prezentovaná metoda QSOFD, která je zde rozpracována do čtyř vývojových etap OC reprezentovanými třemi jakostními domy, byla navržena tak, aby umožňovala snazší odhalování nevyřčených přání zákazníků a podporovala tvorbu preventivních a nápravných opatření.
