Original abstract
Constrained Nedler-Mead simplex method was used for optimization of position of slotted flap in landing configuration. Two solutions of optimizing process, the commercially available system iSIGHT and in – house developed communication and optimizing environment are compared. The results of the optimization are compared with experimentally measured data. The flow field is solved by CFD software Fluent as 2D steady, compressible, viscous simulation.
