Cast iron are the basic structural material and they form 75% of the world production of castings. The crystallization of cast iron and the formation of graphite are a complex process influencing by oxygen.

Litiny jsou základním konstrukčním strojírenským materiálem a tvoří 75 % světové výroby odlitků. Krystalizace litin a tvorba grafitu jsou komplexní procesy ovlivněné kyslíkem rozpuštěným v roztoku nebo vyloučeným ve formě sloučenin, které mohou tvořit krystalizační zárodky pro grafit.
