Original abstract
The article deals with the computational modelling of a radial jet interaction with a wall obstacle. The obstacle was located 170 mm away from the air terminal device and orientated in such way its surface was parallel to the principal jet axis. The jet issued from a slot of 4 mm in width and 200 mm in diameter. An advanced LES turbulence model was employed to model the turbulent fluid motion and results compared with those obtained with the use of the standard k-e turbulence model.

Článek se zabývá výpočtovým modelováním interakce radiálního proudu se stěnou (překážkou). Překážka byla umístěna 170 mm od nástavce tak, že rovina povrchu překážky byla souběžná s hlavní osou proudu. Proud vycházel ze štěrbiny o šířce 4 mm a průměru 200 mm. K popisu turbulentního proudění tekutiny byl použit model turbulence LES. Získané výsledky byly porovnány s výsledky obdrženými použitím standardního k-e modelu turbulence.
