Original abstract

Zirconia nanoparticles (stabilized by 1.5 and 3 mo.l% of yttria) with particle size below 10 nm were prepared by a sol-gel synthesis. Isostatically pressed green bodies had pore radii smaller than 5nm. After pressureless sintering at 1100C the bodies had a density exceeding 99%t.d. and grain size below 80 nm. The sintering activation energy of zirconia nanoceramics was more than twice lower than sintering activation energy of submicrometric zirconia.

ZrO2 nanočástice (stabilizované 1,5 a 3 mol%Y2O3) s velikostí částic pod 10nm byly připraveny sol-gel syntézou. Výlisky připravené izostatickým lisováním těchto prášků měly póry o poloměru menším než 5nm. Po beztlakém slinování při 1100C měla tělesa hustotu vyšší než 99%t.h. a velikost zrn menší než 80nm. Aktivační energie slinování ZrO2 nanokeramiky byla více než dvakrát nižší než aktivační energie submikrometrického ZrO2.
