Original abstract

This paper is concerned in analysis of the mechaniocal interaction between several types of cemented total prosthesis and femur. The stress-strain analysis of the system prosthesis-cement-femur is performed with FEM program ANSYS 5.4 – 5.6. The problem is solved as 3-D, more accurate mechanical properties of the femur and simplified physiological load are reflected. Conclusions are compared with clinical experiences with these implants.
