Original abstract

This paper deals with some qualitative and numerical properties of the delay differential equation $$\dot x(t)=Ax(t)+Bx(\lambda t), 0 < \lambda < 1,$$ where A,B are n x n constant matrices. The studied equation serves as a mathematical model of an electric locomotive's collection system.

Czech abstract

Tento článek se zabývá některými kvalitativními a numerickými vlastnostmi diferenciální rovnice se zpožděním $$\dot x(t)=Ax(t)+Bx(\lambda t), 0 < \lambda < 1,$$ kde A,B jsou konstantní matice typu n x n. Studovaná rovnice je matematickým modelem systému sběru proudu elektrickou lokomotivou.

English abstract
