Original abstract

An original 3D numerical model of the temperature field of a concasting had been used to simulate the temperature field of a CCM- either as a whole, or any of its parts. The experimental research and data acquisition have to take place simultaneously with the numerical computation. Original numerical model of dendritic segregation of elements and impurities in characteristic places of the solidifying slab.
