Original abstract

The AZ91 alloy is made upof dendrites of the solid solution of aluminium in magnesium, discontinous precipitate of tzpe delta – gama and delta – gama eutectic. One of the significant phenomena in the structure of Mg-Al-Zn alloys is occurrence of the Al12Mg17 phase in the interdendritic spacing of the solid solution matrix.

Czech abstract

Struktura slitiny hořčíku AZ91 je tvořena dendrity základního tuhého roztoku hliníku v hořčíku a eutektickou směsí fází delta a gama. Významným jevem je, že ve slitině se tvoří samostatná fáze gama (Al12Mg17) na hranicích dendritů. Tento efekt snižuje mechanické charakteristiky slitiny.
