Original abstract

The miniature electrochemical sensors are growing rapidly in importance. The potentiostat circuitry for such sensors must be able to work with subpicoampere current signals. The measurement of very low currents signals requires very strict conditions and design of the circuitry. Some CMOS op amps make possible to reach input bias currents of some femtoamperes. But noise, shortcomings of insulators, some physical phenomena, and temperature dependences complicate our experiments with ultra low current measurements.
