Original abstract

Mg-Li based alloys with different lithium contents were further alloyd with alluminium and zinc. These alloys will be used as the metal matrix for the preparation of composite materials. The present work involves a study of the structure after crystallization (liquation phenomena, eutectic characteristics, identification of intermetallic phases) and after heat treatment. Special attention is paid to the metallography of discontinuous precipitation.
