New Cooling Techniques to Enhance Roll Bite Lubrication, Lower Water Usage and Decrease Energy Consumption on Cold Strip Mills. This work realised within a European RFCS project shows how to improve cooling capacity on tin plate tandem cold mills. New cooling techniques is evaluated with the laboratory tests and simulations.

Nové chladící technologie, které povedou ke zlepšení lubrikace na válci, tím pádem se sníží množství vody použité při válcování a také se sníži elektrická náročnost procesu. tento výzkum byl proveden za podpory evropského prejektu a ukazuje jak zlepšit kapacitu chlazení tenkých desk. Nové chladící techniky byly vyhodnoceny pomocí laboratorních testů a simulací.
