Original abstract
One of the decisive factors of the quality of ductile iron castings is the shape of graphite, its dimensions and distribution over the matrix. In foundries today, the quality of graphite is evaluated on samples taken from selected spots agreed upon by the manufacturer and the customer.

Pro dosažení kvalitního odlitku, struktury a mechanických vlastností je nutné ještě v předvýrobní etapě nasazení simulačních programů pro modelování teplotního pole a výsledného pnutí. Jednou z rozhodujících složek jakosti odlitků z litin s kuličkovým grafitem je tvar grafitu, jeho rozměry a rozmístění v matrici.
English abstract
