Original abstract
An optimum selection of heat exchanger type plays a important role not only from the point of view of the equipment itself but also from the point of view of overall system (process unit, power plant, incinerator etc.). A correct selection of convenient type of heat exchanger is important especially in case of so called hot gas applications. These and other reasons brought us to developing of multi-purpose computational system with the module of database for hot gas applications (HGA Database). This database contains common as well as specific types of heat exchangers. This means conventional heat exchangers are preferred. However, in some cases there is no other choice than to select a newly developed type of heat exchanger. Paper is devoted to detail description of above mentioned HGA characteristics and features.
Czech abstract
Optimální výběr výměníku tepla hraje důležitou roli nejen z hlediska samotného zařízení, ale také z hlediska celkového provozu (procesní jednotky, spalovny, atd.). Správný výběr vhodného výměníku tepla je důležitý zvláště v případě tzv. vysokoteplotních aplikací. Tyto a další důvody přispěly k vývoji víceúčelového výpočtového systému obsahující modul databáze HGA určeného k výběru vhodného typu výměníku tepla pro tyto aplikace. Tato databáze obsahuje konvenční i speciální typy výměníků tepla. Konvekční typy výměníků jsou upřednostňovány, avšak v některých případech je lepší použít speciální typ výměníku tepla. Článek je zaměřen detailněji na popis výše uvedené HGA databáze, na její charakteristiky a vlastnosti.
English abstract
An optimum selection of heat exchanger type plays a important role not only from the point of view of the equipment itself but also from the point of view of overall system (process unit, power plant, incinerator etc.). These and other reasons brought us to developing of multi-purpose computational system with the module of database for hot gas applications (HGA Database).
