Original abstract
The basis of presented paper is in the side channel pump hydraulic design improvement. A new generally correct relation for the specific energy of the side channel pump was derived that gives better practical expression of the pump performance. 3D CFD analysis [2], hydraulic experiment and also PIV measurement were carried out to obtain general idea of the flow in the side channel pump and for the verification of the specific energy relation.
Czech abstract
Základem uvedeného příspěvku je zpřesnění hydraulického návrhu vířivého čerpadla. Byl odvozen nový, obecně platný vztah pro měrnou energii vířivého čerpadla, který lépe vyjadřuje podstatu jeho funkce. Pro lepší představu proudění ve vířivém čerpadle a pro ověření vztahu pro měrnou energii byla provedena 3D CFD analýza [2], experimentální ověření hydraulických vlastností i PIV měření.
English abstract
