Original abstract
This contribution summarizes initial results of work carried out under the terms of the development project 'Software support of robotic classes for comprehensive design of robotic cells', no. 970/2007, University Development Fund, Czech Republic. Results of this project are primarily intended for the innovation of classes regarding industrial robots and manipulators. There are shortly summarized main features of off-line programming (OLP) methodology and advantages of using simulation and OLP, in relation to industrial robots, within academic environment. Further, the paper is being dealt with a selected and purchased commercial system Workspace 5 for simulation and OLP. In this system there was created a comprehensive simulation model of the robotic cell with the robot ABB IRB4400/60; mounted on a track motion. There were also created two models of end effectors for handling applications. The functionality of the whole model was successfully verified in practice; the main objective. Concurrently there was also assigned a diploma thesis partially relating to simulation and OLP. In the final part of this contribution there are shown some results of that work.

Příspěvek shrnuje výsledky prací v rámci projektu "Softwarová podpora výuky pro komplexní navrhování robotizovaných pracovišť", FRVŠ, Česká republika, číslo 970/2007. Jsou zde stručně charakterizovány hlavní vlastnosti off-line programování a použití simulace při návrhu robotických buněk. Dále je zde popsán vytvořený simulační model výrobní buňky s robotem ABB IRB4400/60.
