Original abstract
Direct measurement of oxygen activity with the aid of oxygen probes is substantially less extended in iron foundries than in steel foundries. Its measurement is utilized mainly in manufacture of spheroidal graphite cast iron and compacted graphite cast iron for checking the modification effect and further on also in manufacture of chilled cast iron.

Přímé měření aktivity kyslíku pomocí kyslíkových sond je ve slévárnách litiny podstatně méně rozšířeno jako v případě sléváren oceli. Její měření se využívá zejména při výrobě litiny s kuličkovým a červíkovitým grafitem pro kontrolu modifikačního účinku a dále také při výrobě tvrzené litiny.
