The main aim of this paper is to give a general picture about latest trends in materials and equipments used in all individual phases of this progressive technology. The written text below is in fact bringing just a skeleton of the power point version of the presentation, which will be given during the conference.

Hlavním cílem příspěvku bylo seznámení s obecnými trendy v jednotlivých fázích technologie vytavitelného modelu z hlediska používaných surovin a zařízení. Důraz je kladen především na fázi zhotovení voskových modelů a skořepinových forem. Pozornost je věnována také problematice vytavování vosku ze skořepiny.
