Original abstract

The paper is concerned with the solution to the statistical problem of finding discrete probability distributions by means of the Pearson test goodness of fit subject to conditions given by estimates of their general moments from observed relative frequencies. A Pearson quasi-norm is defined whose minimization is used for the estimates of these distributions and their basic properties are described. An example is used to illustrate the results.

Czech abstract

Příspěvek je zaměřen na řešení statistické úlohy hledání diskrétních rozdělení pravděpodobnosti pomocí Pearsonova testu rozdělení za podmínek daných odhady jejich obecných momentů z pozorovaných relativních četností. Je definována Pearsonova kvazinorma, z jejíž minimalizace odhady těchto rozdělení vycházejí a jsou popsány jejich základní vlastnosti. Výsledky jsou ilustrovány na konkrétní úloze.
