Original abstract
The character of primary crystallization was investigated on a simple cylindrical sample, crystalliying in a cast-iron mould pre-heated to various temperatures. The experimental research comprised the measurement of temperatures using the termocouples, the evaluation of the experimentally acquired temperature gradients and the shift rate of the phase transition interface. The authors have discovered a new criterion, which predict the macro-structure.

Charakter primární krystalizace byl zkoumán na jednoduchém válcovém vzorku, krystalizujícím v litinové formě předehřáté na různé teploty. Experimentální výzkum zahrnuje měření teplot pomocí termočlánků, vyhodnocení experimentálně zjištěných teplotních gradientů a rychlosti posunu povrchu fázové přeměny. Autoři uvádějí nové kriterium, které slouží k předpovědi makrostruktury.
