Original abstract

In general, problem in technical diagnostics is how to precisely define the boundary between a break-down and an operational status of the monitored system. Following the current trends in diagnostics consisting of the application of non-destructive methods our research focused on one of the available methods that use the expert system approach. The aim of the research was to design and create an expert system that will be able to predict the resulting status of an electric rotating machine based on the input value Ba (activation energy of a polarization action) measured in a laboratory. The evaluation parameter is the breakdown voltage Up of the specific insulating material used, in this case Relanex. The above values are then used to attempt a prediction of the remaining lifetime of the insulating material by means of an expert system.

Czech abstract

Pro popis životnost nebo její předpovídání existuje celá řada metod a nástrojů. Na našem ústavu se zabýváme využitím umělé inteligence k diagnostikování stavu izolačního materiálu točivého elektrického stroje. Jedním z představitelů metod umělé inteligence jsou Expertní systémy. Jedním z našich záměrů bylo vyvinout takový Expertní systém, který by na základě dat z minulosti a přítomnosti vyhodnotil stav izolačního materiálu a výsledkem by byla expertíza, jejímž výsledkem pak bude doporučení o odstávce či ponechání stroje v provozu.
