Original abstract
3D numerical model is capable of simulating the temperature field of a caster in real time. The temperature field in the concasting is determined via the transient enthalpy balance equation with the Finite Differences Method. The model is a valuable computational tool and accurate simulator for investigation, for developing control methods and choice of an optimum cooling strategy.

3D numerický model je schopen simulovat teplotní pole licího stroje v reálném čase. Teplotní pole v kontinuálně odlévaném odlitku je určeno rovnicemi nestacionární entalpické bilance metodou konečných diferencí. Model je cenným výpočtovým prostředkem a přesným simulátorem pro výzkum, vývoj kontrolních metod a volbu optimálního chlazení.
