Original abstract

Design of optimal configuration of cooling nozzles of a grooved roll for U-profile rolling is presented in the paper. Prolongation of the roll life is the aim of the work, which should be reached by elimination of extreme values of thermal stress, causing initiation and growth of fatigue cracks.

Předmětem příspěvku je návrh oprtimálního chlazení tvarového válce pro válcování U-profilů tak, aby byly eliminovány oblasti tahových napětí na povrchu kalibru, vedoucí k iniciaci trhlin.

English abstract
