Original abstract

Summary: This paper deals with implementation stress-strain analysis of the lumbar motion segment of the human spine. Individual vertebral elements are modeled base on the 4. and the 5. CT slices of the lumbar spondyle. Mechanical interaction in joint section of spine between spondyles is modeled by using contact elements. The arthral contact was supported with respect to complication of geometry by creating of cartilage with suitable thickness. This analysis is made by using FEM software ANSYS for a three variations. The results of this analysis contribute to view about effort of the vertebral segment.
