Počítač náprav je technické zařízení pro bezpečné hlášení volnosti sledovaného kolejového úseku. Detekci projíždějících náprav zajišťuje senzor, který spolu s vysílačem tvoří počítací bod v kolejišti. Takto tvořený počítací bod je spojen s počítačem, jemuž předává informace o počtu průjezdů náprav a o případných poruchách. Napájení počítacího bodu je buď z počítače, nebo z místního zálohovaného zdroje.
English abstract
An axle counter is a technical device for secure reporting of the freedom of the monitored track section. The detection of passing wheelsets is ensured by a sensor, which, together with a transmitter, forms a counting point on the track. This counting point is connected to a computer, to which it transmits information about the number of wheelset passages and any malfunctions. The power supply of the counting point is either from the computer or from a local backup source.
