Hlavní částí zařízení je disk uložený na hřídel, který je přes zubovou spojku spojen s elektromotorem. Na obvod rotujícího disku je pomocí aplikátoru přitlačován vzorek tuhého modifikátoru tření. Síla přítlaku vzorku je nastavena pomocí tlačné pružiny a převlečné matice. Součástí aplikátoru je také indukční senzor, který umožňuje stanovit spotřebu (konzumpci) testovaného vzorku. Pro průběžné odstraňování vytvořené vrstvy z obvodu rotujícího disku je zařízení vybaveno čistící soustavou. Další součástí zařízení je přítlačná soustava, která obsahuje další menší kolo, které je přitlačováno na obvod hlavního disku, a to za účelem měření impedance mezi rotujícím diskem, třecí vrstvou a malým přítlačným kolem.
English abstract
The main part of the device is a disk mounted on a shaft, which is connected to an electric motor through a tooth clutch. Using an applicator, a sample of a solid friction modifier is pressed onto the circumference of the rotating disk. The pressing force of the sample is adjusted using a compression spring and a locknut. The applicator also includes an inductive sensor, allowing for the determination of the consumption of the tested solid stick. To continuously remove the formed layer from the circumference of the rotating disk, the device is equipped with a cleaning system. Another component of the device is the pressing system, which includes an additional smaller wheel pressed against the circumference of the main disk to measure the impedance between the rotating disk, the friction layer, and the small pressing wheel.
