Original abstract

An effervescent atomizer is a twin-fluid atomizer in which gas bubbles are injected into a mixing chamber using a multi-hole aerator. As the mixture is discharged from the atomizer, the expansion of the air bubbles causes the liquid to tear apart, forming ligaments.
