Original abstract
With the upcoming mandates of ADS-B Out, ADS-B surveillance enables far better means to develop airborne surveillance and collision avoiding systems for GA. The two new applications targeting GA that are currently being developed in parallel: TSAA and ACAS Xp are discussed within this document, together with a proposition for performance comparison of both systems. An expected output of the proposed assessment would provide a clearer idea of differences in alerting of the two systems (timing, encounter configuration impact, etc.) and therefore of potential impact on the GA operations.
